Jupiter has the shortest day of any solar system planet

The gas giant completes a full rotation in under ten hours

Jupiter spins faster than any other planet in the solar system, completing one rotation in roughly 9 hours and 55 minutes. This rapid rotation causes the gas giant to bulge at its equator and flatten slightly at its poles, creating an oblate spheroid shape.
