Drag Racer
A quarter mile decided by two things: a reaction start and three shifts. The tree lights amber, amber, amber, then green at a moment you cannot predict, and leaving early voids the run. After that a needle sweeps each gear, so shift in the band for a clean pull. Mondo runs a ghost beside you and posts a time you have to beat.
